Our achievements on the environmental scope include: Reduced direct emissions (Scope 1 & 2) by 39% – significant progress towards goal of 60% reduction by 2030. Reported to the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) for the 11th year, with improved A- scoring higher than industry averages.

Trees are natural carbon capture and storage machines, absorbing carbon dioxide (CO2) in the atmosphere through photosynthesis then locking it up for centuries. 1 tree absorbs 10 kilos of CO2 per year (average on the first 10 years)
It's why reforestation and afforestation are touted as key solutions to the climate crisis.
Deforestation has many consequences on the on natural ecosystems. Its impact on climate change is very strong, trees store CO2 throughout their lives. By destroying these trees, the ecosystem’s capacity to store CO2 is reduced.
The other consequence of deforestation is the threat of biodiversity. The forest shelters a quantity of animal species, it regulates the climate, has a role in the water cycle and is very beneficial for humanity. Natural environments contribute to the formation of diverse landscapes, with which people strongly identify.
They provide ecological and biological services, provide wood, absorb water and redistribute it during dry periods. They temper the climate and store CO2.
