What are Cookies

When you visit our Sites, we may automatically collect information through such means as Cookies, web beacons and web server logs. The information we may collect in this manner includes IP address, unique device identifier (udid), information about the browser, device, operating system used, language preferences, referring URLs, information about actions taken on our Sites, date and time of visits to our Sites, and other user statistics.

A "cookie" is a small text file containing data that a website wants to store on a visitor's computer, or other internet-connected device, to uniquely identify the visitor's browser and/or remember information about the visitor, like language preference or login information.

A "web beacon" also known as an “internet tag”, “pixel tag”, or “clear GIF”, links web pages to web servers and their cookies and is used to send information collected through cookies back to a web server. Through these automated collection methods, we may obtain "clickstream data”, which is a log of the links and other content on which a visitor clicks while browsing a website.

How we collect information through Cookies

As you click through our Sites, a record of actions taken is collected and stored. We link certain data elements we have collected, such as your browser information, with other information we have obtained about you to let us know, for example, what language preference you have so we can adjust it the next time you visit our Sites.

Your browser will give you the option of not allowing the use of Cookies, but you may then not be able to use all of the features of our Sites. To the extent required by applicable law, we will request your consent via our cookie banner before we collect personal information from you via Cookies, depending on the type of Cookies. You can manage your Cookie Settings as described in the Managing your Cookie Settings section of this Policy.

Third parties that provide apps, tools, widgets, and plug-ins, such as tools to share information on social media, on our Sites may collect information about your use of those features. Such information is collected directly by the providers of those features and is subject to the privacy policies or notices of these providers. Unless otherwise provided by applicable law, ManpowerGroup is not responsible and liable for the handling of information by those providers.
